We are able to perform in our own premises all types of analyses on water as recommended by the World Health Organization and the European Drinking Water Directive 98/83/EC for the quality of water intended for human consumption.
These analyses may also be performed on water from other sources such as residual water, waste water, sea water, water from hot springs.
- Routine analysis: Gross Alpha, Gross Beta, Tritium
- Complementary Analysis: Uranium-234/238, Radium-226/228, Lead-210, Polonium-210, Plutonium-238/239/240 … and determination of the Total Indicative Dose.
All these analyses, including the determination of natural and/or artificial radionuclides, are performed under COFRAC accreditation and are authorized by the French Ministry of Health.

Our regular participation in Inter-laboratories Proficiency Testing trials organized by PROCORAD (Association for the Promotion of Quality Control in Radiotoxicological Analysis) enables us to propose analyses of various parameters such as Gamma emitters, Uranium, Tritium or Polonium-210 in urine. For example, for the Litvinenko case, as detailed in our newsletter “Lettre des Laboratoires n°6”.
Please note that, for the moment, we don’t have the requisite authorization from the French Nuclear Safety Authority to provide services such as monitoring and radioprtotection of people working in the nuclear industry .
