Eichrom in Tokyo for the Dioxin 2007 Conference

Eichrom will once again be represented at the 27th International Symposium on Halogenated Persistent Organic Pollutants, otherwise known as Dioxin 2007. The conference is schedule to take place September 2 � 7 at the Hotel Okura in Tokyo, Japan.

Eichrom is especially excited about this year�s conference after being awarded 2 posters and one oral presentation for the conference proceedings. The time and date of the posters and presentation have yet to be announced, but be sure to attend these sessions to receive up-to-date information on Eichrom�s development relating to dioxin screening techniques.

Conference attendees can visit Eichrom's booth to learn more about the Procept dioxin screening assay. Procept delivers the lowest dioxin detection limits among competitive dioxin screening tests and its user-friendly methodology is designed for use in analytical chemistry labs. The Procept method utilizes PCR technology and Eichrom has partnered with Stratagene to demonstrate the kit and PCR's ease of use while at Dioxin 2007. The Eichrom team has been spending the past few months working with the United States EPA on Procept�s SW-846 validation. The multi-lab testing has recently been completed and is the final step before submitting the full report to the EPA. Stop by the booth to learn more about the results of testing and keep an eye out for Procept being the new method added to the EPA�s publication!
